The Strata Council is made up of 7 owners elected at the Annual General Meeting each year. They meet on a monthly basis to oversee the budget, building repairs and contracts, owner concerns etc. Communications for the council in writing may be left with the concierge at 388 Drake Street. Written communications may also be addressed to the property manager.

Building Access and Security:
All main doors, parking gates, elevators and the spa area require clickers attached to key fobs. The spa area, parkade exits, and storage locker areas require a common area key. Bike lockers each have separate keys which must be obtained from security. Replacements or additional clickers and keys must be purchased from the staff. The office also has a supply of batteries for the clickers which may be purchased for $5.00. Regular checks are done by security to catalogue all clickers being used by residents.
Garbage & Recycling:
There are common garbage bins on the P1 level for all buildings. Paper, newsprint and containers have blue bins in the same areas, and yellow recycling bins for bottles and other drink containers are in each main location. Cardboard may be recycled in the compactor room which is accessible form P1 near the Drake Street gate.
Furniture, mattresses, appliances, renovation waste, TVs, computers and other large items are the responsibility of the owners. Please arrange for their proper removal.

Governors Tower and Villas has 24 hour security staffed by five full time employees who provide security and concierge services. Our full time employees also perform a lot of general maintenance around the property.
