Closure of off-ramp
on south end of Cambie Bridge in preparation for RAV construction
During the week of October
3, 2005 the City of Vancouver will close the westbound exit ramp onto (also marked
as ) from the Cambie Bridge in preparation for the construction of the Richmond
Airport Vancouver (RAV) Line.
Westbound traffic will be
directed to the second off-ramp where a new signalized intersection will allow
for both westbound and eastbound turns onto 2nd Avenue.
The original westbound exit
ramp will remain closed during construction of the RAV Line.
Pedestrian access on the
west side of the Cambie Bridge remains in place, however, for the time being,
bicycles and those with disability needs should use the east side of Cambie Bridge.
The City of Vancouver appreciates
your patience and regrets any inconvenience this work may cause.
